I am extremely interested in art. I am especially interested in creating Art images myself. I enjoy drawing in black pen and especially enjoy the cartoon art of others. I especially enjoy art that is included in the pages of Heavy Metal Magazine . I guess you might call most of it Fantasy Art but I don't think that category covers it all. I produce line art for a rubber stamp company in Central California by the name of Stamps Galore. You can see their ad in Rubberstampmadness magazine. I am also currently working on illustrating a children's book for a co-worker of mine.
Metal Detecting, Prospecting & Treasure Hunting
I enjoy metal smithing. I design and make various items of jewelry from metals. I use Copper, Nickel and Silver. I don't work with Gold only because of the cost involved. I also include some lapidary since I do mount some semi-precious stones on some of the jewelry. The stone of choice for me is turquoise which also happens to be my birthstone.
I am not in a computer related job field by design. I have been a computer hobbyist since 1980. This was a hobby that grew so out of control that it became a source of employment. I was one of the earliest members of the Apple Mousse . The oldest and most successful computer user group in the Fairbanks area. The group was founded by a small group of Apple // users for the purpose of getting together and discussing the various uses for a personal computer. With the development of the Macintosh computer in 1984 the group expanded to include the support and discussion of this new computer as well. Today the group is largely a Macintosh support group but there is still a large Apple // contingent.
