Aurora Forecast for Sunday, September 30, 2012

Forecast: Auroral activity will be active. Weather permitting, active auroral displays will be visible overhead from Barrow to Anchorage and Juneau, and visible low on the horizon from King Salmon and Prince Rupert.

Forecaster Comments: A small solar event occurred on Sept 28. The effects of this event on the aurora should be felt on September 30th. We expect a disturbance level of at least Kp=4 for 3 or more periods that day.
