3. Simulation Results
We have run the simulation code many times with varying conditions. For purposes of presentation, it will be simpler to focus on a particular example, the conditions of which are described above and then briefly mention other examples that help delineate the important physical process. We will first present a series of panels, like that shown in Figure 2, that show the evolution of the fields and particle moments as a function of time. We will then go back and display more detailed graphics of important processes revealed by the simulation.
