Top: Ice in the river near the WF section. My field assistant Jessica and I never tried the "swimming pool". The weather was too cold while we were there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bottom: From the same area as the upper photo. We got 4" of snow (that stayed) in 24 hours on July 5, 2001. The snow stayed for 2 days, but the coldness stayed for a week.
