4 Easy Steps for Proposal Preparation in the GIBO

  4. Final budget approval

Carolyn will:

  1. Ensure your budget fulfills funding agency and UA requirements, and meets federal cost accounting standards*
  2. Prepare budgets provided in funding agency format
  3. Enter proposal information into Banner and assign UAF proposal number
  4. Complete UAF transmittal form including appropriate documentation for special considerations, i.e. requests for F&A waiver

"Congratulations, you have been awarded..."

Carolyn will:

  1. Notify you by e-mail and/or phone, we have received award notifications; ask you for a project name** and if you require pre-award cost approval.
  2. IF YOU receive notification of an award, PLEASE bring your award letter to either Deb Ice or Carolyn, in the business office, then she can . . .
  3. Prepare Banner forms for grant and fund setup and . . .
  4. Notify you when award is set up in Banner, your new account number and copy of award document.

**a project name is very specific to your project, preferably within ten letter/numbers, and easy to remember. This is how your account will be monitored.
