When you want a line return in your text that Drupal won't ignore, open the html edit window locate the area in your text where you want the return and use <p> </p>
When you want a soft line return use <br /> <br />
When you want more than one space in your text but the space bar won't let you, open the html edit window and use where you want the space. Using this multiple times will create multiple spaces.
