The Operations Office has oversight of all facilities construction projects in relation to the Geophysical Institute. Some of these projects involve building code correction and repair projects, while others are new construction of facilities which will directly benefit the scientific, research and university community, and indirectly benefit the community of Fairbanks, the State of Alaska, and the United States, as they are international in scope.
