Eastchester Lake

The Anchorage study site will be run by Craig Kasemodel and his 7th grade students at Central Middle School for Science. Craig has been at Central Middle School since autumn 2004. Originally from Wisconsin, he is a wildlife biologist by training. Craig has conducted bird surveys and studied moose habitat along the Yukon and Innoko rivers, and lived with the brown bears of SW Alaska conducting habitat and human disturbance studies. In Montana, he worked with Bighorn Sheep conducting population ecology and habitat selection studies for several years along the Missouri River.

Craig (far right) and some of his students and colleagues set up their ALISON site.
