From June 18 to 20, 2012, more than 100 experts will convene in Boulder, Colo. to attend a Lower Atmospheric Observing Facilities Workshop, sponsored

by the National Center for Atmospheric Research. Professor Nicole Mölders, of the UAF College of Natural Science and Mathematics, Department of Atmospheric Sciences and the Geophysical Institute Atmopsheric Sciences Group, was invited to provide an overview talk on cryospheric-atmosphere interface and polar processes at the event.
