GI to participate in 2012 Golden Days parade
The Geophysical Institute will be represented in the 2012 Golden Days Parade in Fairbanks at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 24. The parade is the largest in Alaska with more than 100 entries. The GI will be the last group in the large University of Alaska Fairbanks section and GI personnel will be accompanied by a large rocket from Poker Flat Research Range and mini race car. Promotional items will be given out along the parade route, so come out and cheer on the GI!
