Bob McCoy, Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce, September 2012Geophysical Institute Director Bob McCoy addresses the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, September 4. McCoy informed those attending about the various aspects of GI research and his plans to reach out to the Fairbanks community, especially forging partnerships to create an aurorium in the borough. The luncheon talk was coupled with an update on the new university research vessel –Sikuliaq – provided by UAF School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences Dean Mike Castellini.
