Former GI student receives competitive award for her dedication to students

Leslie Almberg, 2012A former Geophysical Institute graduate student earned a prestigious teaching award in Australia. L [dot] Almberg [at] curtin [dot] edu [dot] au (Leslie Almberg) received her doctorate in volcanology just a few short years ago and is now faculty at Curtin University in Western Australia. She was the recent recipient of the Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning - Early Career.  According to Almberg, "This is a highly competitive scheme for all of Australia's higher education institutions. Nominations must come from the institution, not the individual." Congratulations, Leslie!
