United Way Campaign: UAF wants you to donate, help spread the word

October 19, 2012

United Way Campaign of the Tananan Valley 2012Last year about 186 out of nearly 4,000 employees at the Unviersity of Alaska Fairbanks contributed to the United Way Campaign. This year, Chancellor Brian Rogers formed a United Way Cabinet to help increase campus participation for the United Way campaign. Would you like to contribute? Your help can come by donation, but also by helping to spread the word on the campaign.

As employees of one of the largest employers in the region, we have a unique opportunity to collectively provide meaningful gifts to local agencies and the many neighbors and community members who benefit from their services. Please consider a United Way pledge and help provide critical services to those in need.

To make a gift by payroll deduction, credit card or cash, submit a completed contribution form to your Human Resources office by November 12. Once your form is received, you will be entered into a drawing for a tour of the Permafrost Tunnel or a private tour of the Large Animal Research Station.
