A number of awards will be presented to Geophysical Institute faculty, staff and students on November 2, 2012, including the new Roger Smith Award. In addition to the award presentations, GI Director Bob McCoy will provide a state of the Geophysical Institute address and highlights from across the GI will be shared at the event. Heavy hors' d'oeuvres, a no-host bar and door prizes are all part of the fun. Join us on Friday, November 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Westmark Gold Room, downtown. Purchase tickets in advance or at the door. Advance tickets are available in the Geophysical Institute Director's Office.

Faculty and staff tickets are $10 each. Student tickets are $5. Spouses, partners and friends are invited. Dress is business casual. We hope to see you there!
