This is a reminder that the Alaska Surveying and Mapping 
Conference is coming to Fairbanks from March 19-23, 2007.

This conference is typically held in Anchorage and is a prime 
showcase and learning opportunity for Alaska surveying and 
mapping professionals. I encourage Fairbanksans to register so 
we have a strong local turnout.

In addition to training opportunities, workshops, and 
technical presentations, best-selling author Dava Sobel will 
be the keynote speaker.

There are also a number of training opportunities available, 
including Pete Hickman of GeoApp's popular ArcGIS I and II 
classes, a Python geoprocessing programming course taught by
