Hi Falk -

I've used RoboGeo to link photos to track lines
(http://www.robogeo.com/home/). You do have to pay for it but it's
relatively cheap (~$40). The nice thing about this program is that it
allows you to:
-stamp photos with location & time if desired
-create files for GoogleEarth as well as ESRI products and a few others
-allows you to also drop your photos onto location if you know where it
is but don't have the waypoint

Best regards, Miranda

Subject: [nasdug-l] GPS Photo link

Hi everybody,

I am looking for a way to link digital photos with a GPS tracklog for
mapping, e.g. GIS.

There is something like
http://oregonstate.edu/~earlyj/gpsphotolinker/index.php.

and GPS Photolink
http://www.geospatialexperts.com/download.html

out there.

But would you know of an alternative solution, and a FREEWARE one
perhaps ?

Thanks so much for any feedback; would save my live ...

  F.
