Present Research Interests:
- Thermospheric wind, temperature, and composition field’s fields, with an emphasis on how these are disturbed by the space weather
- Optical instrumentation, with an emphasis on imaging Fabry-Perot spectrometers
- Sounding rocket studies of the upper atmosphere
- Computational geophysical fluid dynamics
- Ionospheric radio tomography
