Jeremy Miner – MS candidate - I am looking at pore space, brine pockets, and drainage networks in sea ice. The amount and extent of these features alter every aspect of ice properties, from optical to biological. I am working on a thorough reconstruction of the drainage features in ice using optical and x-ray imaging techniques. This research may also be useful for application to other geophysical and biological media with similar drainage development.
