The Geophysical Institute's Computer Resource Center (CRC) exists to provide coordinated, efficient, and effective computing, communication,
and information management services that are of general value to the Institute. Specifically, it exists to meet the computing technology needs
of its Institute clients, enabling them to fulfill their scientific research and operational missions. CRC services are also available to
those outside the Geophysical Institute on a work order basis.
As per federal regulations, the CRC operates as a zero-based-budget "recharge service center." This means that all CRC costs must be recovered
through appropriate charges for the services provided.
