The Ninth International Conference on Permafrost takes place at the University of Alaska Fairbanks from June 29 to July 03, 2008. The Geophysical Institute Permafrost Laboratory is actively involved in planning the organization of the conference together with local colleagues from IARC, WERC, IAB, UAF, and many national and international colleagues.
