Research Interests
I am working on the interactions between changes in permafrost and vegetation in a subarctic ecosystem as a result of climate change in the Abisko area, northernmost Sweden. I am looking at the present, past and future permafrost distribution in the catchment area and also how the vegetation is changing, partly as a result of climate change itself, but also due to the change from frozen to unfrozen ground where permafrost is disappearing.
