Marc Gould – Masters Candidate - I am working with Martin Jeffries on the thermal regime of Subarctic Alaska lakes.  In particular, my work concentrates on the total winter heat flux and heat loss.  I will also be looking at the role of snow ice versus congelation ice to better understand their differences and a role a regime shift may have in a changing climate.

My primary study site is at Poker Flat Research Range, but I receive additional data from the school's involved in the ALISON program.
