Believe it or not, running is a year-round activity even up here. The Running Club North sponsors races throughout the year, including the annual Equinox marathon in September.

I'm a big fan of the Equinox and marathons in general; here is a picture of me en route to a 3:05 finish in the Anchorage Mayors Midnite Sun Marathon in June 1998.
