I graduated from Cobre High School which is located only two miles from Central. After graduating in 1974 I attended New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, New Mexico as a metallurgical engineering student. I arrived in Fairbanks in August 1980 and then attended a computer course at the Tanana Valley Community College. I continue to upgrade my skills whenever possible by attending vocational training in my current field of employment.
