Quicktime Video Samples

Pavlof Volcano

This is a series of Quicktime video sequences that I produced from an 8 mm tape that was shot by Steve McNutt of the Alaska Volcano Observatory. Steve shot this video on a hand held Sony video cam during a night time flyby of the volcano in October of 1996.

  • Pavlof (1.9 Megs) video as it was digitized without any audio.
  • Pavlof (2.1 Megs) video after a volcano soundtrack was added.
  • Pavlof (2.6 Megs) video after a soundtrack was added for the MTV generation.
  • Old video of ME (2.1 Megs) from 1976 while living in West Hall at New Mexico Tech.
