McGinnis Glacier (circled in red) has two tributaries (Northwest and Southeast), which are no longer connected. The much larger Black Rapids and Susitna Glaciers are known to surge, and Trident and Hayes Glaciers are believed to have surged in the past (note the looped moraines on Trident Glacier). The black line shows the trace of the Denali Fault.
