Dmitry started his post-secondary education with by obtaining a B.S. degree in Physics from the St. Petersburg State University in Russia prior to earning his M.S. in Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Ph.D. degrees from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He is currently a research assistant professor at the Geophysical Institute. He enjoys hiking and do-it-yourself projects.
