LJ Evans

Public Relations
LJ came to UAF when she moved to Fairbanks from Anchorage in 1996. She has worked for University Relations as a publications specialist, the Arctic Region Supercomputing Center as public relations coordinator, and at Marketing and Communications as writer/editor. Although she retired from a full-time staff position at UAF in 2013, she never intended to stop working altogether. Since spring 2015 she has been a part-time public relations assistant at the GI Public Relations Office. Her other post-retirement career is leading groups of visitors from all over the world up the Dalton Highway to Coldfoot and Deadhorse as a guide for Northern Alaska Tour Company.
