Exciting Opportunities for Undergraduate & Graduate Students Pursuing Degrees in Science and Engineering Disciplines.
With the backing of a dozen community organizations, the inaugural 2017 Practice & Experience in Advanced Research Computing conference (PEARC17) is providing a forum for community-wide discussions of the challenges, opportunities, and solutions in advanced research computing among research computing center directors and managers, computational scientists, end users, students, educators, facilitators, system administrators, and user support staff.

PEARC17 also offers a comprehensive Student Program that provides a week of opportunities to increase students’ familiarity with the many facets of advanced research computing.

PEARC17 has limited funding for undergraduate and graduate students to support student travel, lodging and registration costs for participating in and attending the conference. Participation from traditionally under-represented communities including women, minorities, people with disabilities, is strongly encouraged.
