Recent Unscheduled Interruptions

20241124.0927 20241124.1500 Lingering network issues made the Online file share inaccessible. The file server was rebooted again to clear the issue(s).
20241123.0320 20241123.1020 A disk failure on a disk server made the Online file shares inaccessible. The disk has been marked offline to be replaced. The disk & file servers were rebooted. NFS services were restored.

Since it was established by an Act of Congress in 1946, scientists at the Geophysical Institute have studied geophysical processes from the center of the Earth to the surface of the sun and beyond, turning data and observations into information useful for state, Arctic and national priorities.
