Join us to for a block party celebration 2 – 6 p.m. Saturday, August 21, outside the Elvey Building on UAF West Ridge. The Geophysical Institute is celebrating 75 years of innovative research at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, America's premier Arctic research university.  You'll enjoy guided outdoor tours and interactive activities for all ages, door prizes, cake, playing GI trivia and more!

Science for Alaska Lecture Series

The Science for Alaska Lecture Series is one of the largest public outreach efforts undertaken each year by the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, with 29 years of free, public science talks.
