GI researchers and technicians do their fieldwork in so many different places, from the fabulous to the ordinary. But even the most ordinary of places can prove to be challenging for science while the most fabulous can be a breeze. And both can present the unexpected.

Whether on land, on water or in the air, we know the field is where you want to be.

We’d like to share your fieldwork experiences with the GI audience as well as the world, including on Twitter for the #FieldworkFriday hashtag that shows what your colleagues at other institutions have been up to out in the field.
